Business development

We provide entrepreneurship skills and training to help the women acquire business skills to start up and sustain their small businesses so that they can expand them and compete in the business world.

The project also conducts exposure visits to introduce the women to people who are already in business.

We also encourage women to begin saving funds as startup capital for their new small businesses. Through this saving initiative; women have started up businesses and are walking towards the road of self sufficiency.

Monthly follow up visits are also provided for all women to check on the progress of their businesses. Our hope is that the women who have been a part of our program have started small businesses and are taking care of their families.

Ten women go through a six months skills development training and twenty women from the previous cycles are followed up to encourage them and ensure that they put into practice what they learnt during the program.
